Financial Support for International Students

Deciding to come to the UK as an international student can be a significant financial commitment. Before you start on a programme of study at The Courtauld, you should carefully consider your financial expenses and living costs.

If you require a visa to study in the UK, evidence that you can support yourself (and any dependents) is a condition of gaining entry clearance into the UK, and so ensuring that you have planned ahead is essential.

There are variety of avenues you can explore below, ranging from government loan schemes to our own Courtauld Scholarships.

How much are fees for international students?

US Federal Loans

The Courtauld is registered with the US Department of Education as an foreign institution for the Federal Student Aid program. Eligible students may apply to borrow toward tuition fees and assistance with the cost of living.

Please check our US Federal Loans page for more information on eligibility and how to apply to apply for a US Federal loan.

US Fulbright Student Program

°Õ³ó±ðÌý is a program of merit-based grants for international study, where competitively selected U.S. citizens may become eligible for scholarships to study, conduct research, or exercise their talents abroad.

Please check the  website for more information.

Canadian Loans

Student Financial Assistance, including loans and grants, is available to eligible Canadian students through provincial, territorial and federal governments.

Courtauld Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of many donors, The Courtauld has a number of scholarships open to all postgraduate students – including international students – which may cover fees and/or maintenance.
